Homeownership Officer

Our client, based in Croydon, is currently recruiting for a Homeownership / Leasehold Officer on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary is £37,753 per annum plus a £1,100 car allowance for this position.

The ideal candidate must have experience working as a Homeownership Officer and a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a patch of approximately 200 homeowners
• Acting as the central point of contact for shared owners, leaseholders and London Living Rent
• Liaising with external sales consultants over new completions and ensuring new residents receive settling in checks
• Overseeing the settling and collection of Service Charges
• Providing resale management packs (LP1s)
• Maintaining all records and progress resales, lease extensions and any other transactions
• Receipting Notices of Transfer and sending out welcome letters to new customers
• Preparing documents for court and attending court and evictions or liaising with solicitors to do so where necessary

Experience required:

• Experience required in Homeownership
• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Income / Service Charges
• Resale Management packs
• Court documents

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
