Job Description
We are recruiting for a permanent Housing Advisor to join our busy Housing Advice Service.
The role involves carrying out statutory functions under homelessness legislation and offering tailored housing advice options to the public with a view to preventing homelessness.
If you have a working knowledge of homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law and choice-based lettings schemes, or if you have practical experience of decision making and offering complex advice to customers with a range of needs, the ability to work under pressure on you your own initiative and as part of a team, and you enjoy a challnge, then we would like to hear from you.
Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.

Salary: £36,124 - £40,476 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.
Location: Central Cambridge/home working
