We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic HSE Coordinator to join our team and promote safe and healthy working practices at our Head Office in Basingstoke. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the basics of general office based HSE, and will either already have or be working towards IOSH / NEBOSH qualifications.
Reporting to the Group HSE Lead, you will work in a group team with professional HSE experience and will be keen to develop your knowledge in this field. We will support you through this process as required.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be the team’s first point of contact answering HSE enquiries via the phone, email and Teams, whilst also supporting the wider health and safety team on other projects as and when required.
Key Activities Also Include
- maintaining and monitoring the HSE procedures and records in line with the Group HSE Management Systems and Corporate Standards to meet legal compliance
- supporting the development and delivery of HSE training for all employees (in house or contracted)
- working with the Facilities Team to support any HSE elements, RAMS, induction briefings relating to contractors and/or contracted works and to retain records as appropriate
- create and maintain the PPE supplies and order accordingly
- administration and record keeping of key areas including compliance, statistics and checks for the Viables site as per group reporting requirements

Working hours: Full Time – 36.5 hrs per week
Base location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a HSE administration / advisory role within general office environment
- Good communication skills, able to deliver training and information sessions when required
- Passionate about Health and Safety, with a willingness to learn and take on new opportunities
- Confident, able to work with stakeholders (internal and external) at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of accreditation frameworks such as ISO 14001 & 45001
- Demonstrable experience with auditing processes (advantageous)
- Certification in IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) would an advantage
- NEBOSH certification is desirable but can be supported
