Dalkia UK are looking for a full-time, permanent HR Administrator to join our HR team. This role will be a mixture of working from home and from our office at the Birmingham Business Park.
Role Summary:
- To provide and deliver an efficient, professional, customer focused HR administration service
Hours of Work:
- Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 8.45-4.45pm, 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Main Duties:
- Lead and own the HR administrative processes to deliver an accurate, efficient and customer focused service
- Proactively review and manage HR administrative processes and put recommendations forward for improvements, create efficiency's and streamline systems of work where possible, taking all stakeholders into account.
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries channel appropriately
- Manage several HR email inboxes and filtering HR queries to relevant team members
- Updating and maintaining various HR systems
- Process starters and leavers, changes of terms and conditions, TUPE, benefits and pension etc
- Supporting the wider HR team with ad hoc projects
- Work closely with Payroll to report new starters, absence, changes and leaver information
- Compile reports from the HR system(s) as required
Requirements:
- Previous administration experience within a busy environment - ideally within HR
- Experienced in high volume administration/ processing, working to tight deadlines
- Working with data; inputting data, generating reports and maintaining systems
- Competent in Microsoft Office - inc. Excel
- Proactive, 'can do' approach
- Works quickly and accurately without compromising on quality
- Can work alone and as part of a team
- Flexible approach - can adapt and re-prioritise quickly when the situation requires
- Strong numerical ability
- Builds effective relationships with line managers and employees of all levels of the business
- Works confidentially at all times
- Customer focused with a strong track record of exceeding the requirement of customers (internal or external)
