The role focuses on our two UK offices, Leeds and Shrewsbury, where you will support staff together with our Operations Manager. As our UK HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and improving our HR services, ensuring our team’s success and well-being. You will navigate the local employment laws, work independently and interact with various employees and stakeholders, whilst having the support of the wider Dutch HR team when needed.


What You’ll Do

As a HR Advisor, you will be instrumental in enhancing and refining our HR services, contributing to the success and well-being of our UK offices. Here’s what you can expect in your day-to-day:


  • Drive HR Excellence: Lead the development and enhancement of HR services, policies and procedures to align with modern best practices.
  • Recruit and Onboard Talent: Contribute to recruitment efforts and deliver a seamless onboarding experience to help new colleagues feel at home from day one.
  • Be a Trusted Partner: Provide expert support and guidance to managers and employees, helping them navigate challenges and unlock their potential.
  • Ensure Compliance: Use your expertise in UK Employment Law to ensure our practices remain compliant and effective.
  • Collaborate Globally: Work closely with HR colleagues across the Netherlands to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.


Please note that this role is part-time (24h/week)


What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and shares our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace. You should be self-driven and decisive, a problem-solver who can help resolve issues by taking a people-first approach. Here are the qualifications and qualities we value:

  • Proven experience working as an HR Generalist in a fast paced and professional environment.
  • Confidence to drive initiatives to a high standard.
  • Excellent employee relations knowledge. You can run the core HR processes: redundancies, Tupe transfers, disciplinaries, grievances and dismissals with minimum support.
  • Knowledge and experience of UK employment law
  • Excellent oral and written communication style
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships
  • CIPD certification is a bonus
