The Role:
- Lead and motivate teams, delegating responsibilities effectively.
- Deliver Construction Work Packs to support major MEH construction activities.
- Define scope boundaries and liaise with SMEs and client counterparts.
- Ensure documentation remains compliant, up-to-date, and >90% first-time accepted.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction processes.
- Support safe access routing, work authorisation, and permit systems.
- Provide strong HSE leadership, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and site licence requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or trade qualification in HVAC, with 5+ years’ experience
- Relevant professional accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)
- CCNSG Safety Passport & IOSH Managing Safely (or NEBOSH)
- Strong background in nuclear power or other highly regulated industries (oil & gas, petrochemical, marine etc)
- Experience in major construction projects
- Must have proven background in HVAC installations
- Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software for planning and documentation
Benefits Package:
- Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 (based on experience)
- Secondment Allowance: 10.5% - 13.5% up to £9000 (depending on location)
- Accommodation Allowance: £355 per week (tax-free if eligible)
- Additional: Monthly travel time/allowance and pension contributions
Working Pattern:
- 9-day fortnight schedule:
- Week 1: Monday-Thursday (07:30 – 16:45) and Friday (07:30 – 12:30)
- Week 2: Monday-Wednesday (07:30 – 16:45) and Thursday (07:30 – 15:45)
- Subject to overtime
