Octavius have been awarded a Stations and Buildings framework for Control Period (CP) 7 for the Wales & Western region. The framework consists of two portfolios', the first being a renewals portfolio consisting of: canopies, buildings, depots, platform structures, car parks, and subways on Network Rail infrastructure. The second is an enhancements portfolio, consisting predominantly of; New Stations and Access for All (AfA) projects across the region.
As an Information Manager, you will lead the management and control of all project-related documents, drawings, and reports for the CP7 Wales and Western Framework. You will ensure effective collaboration, secure information flow, and compliance with industry standards using systems like ProjectWise, Procore, and SharePoint.
This is a hybrid role based in the CP7 Wales and Western Framework region, requiring collaboration with Network Rail, Octavius, and the supply chain.
What you'll do...
- Establish and enforce robust systems and processes for document control and information management, ensuring compliance with BIM ISO 19650 and Network Rail standards.
- Administer and maintain Common Data Environments (CDEs), ensuring secure, timely, and consistent access.
- Act as the primary liaison between Network Rail, Octavius, and supply chain partners, ensuring seamless and accurate information exchange.
- Lead quality assurance efforts, performing audits to ensure document integrity and compliance.
- Provide training and support to framework staff, enhancing information management practices.
- Oversee and update the Framework BEP and Project BIM Statements.
- Address operational challenges, troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical advice.
- Maintain compliance with Network Rail's Authority to Work certification

About You….
- Comprehensive knowledge of information management systems, particularly Bentley ProjectWise and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Expertise in BIM standards (ISO 19650) and their application across project lifecycles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor teams in document control and information management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications in document control or BIM (e.g., BIM ISO 19650 Practitioner).
- Proficiency in digital collaboration tools (e.g., Synchro, Procore).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Network Rail's PACE governance process is desirable
