We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to join our growing team of like-minded tech people. This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and project delivery to drive infrastructure excellence while developing high-performing teams. Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass:

Leadership & Team Development (45%)

  •  Lead and develop infrastructure team through mentoring, coaching, 1:1s and strategic planning
  • Manage resources, capacity and scheduling across BAU/project work, including recruitment and onboarding
  • Drive team excellence through training programs, career development paths and continuous improvement

Technical Direction & Service Excellence (35%)

  • Provide technical leadership for complex infrastructure challenges, including platform maintenance, optimization and architecture decisions
  • Lead monitoring, backup and patch management improvements while ensuring robust incident response
  • Partner with Service Desk to enhance delivery and response times

Projects & Change (20%)

  • Deliver strategic infrastructure initiatives, including process improvements and new technology implementation
  • Manage project resources and timelines while building cross-business relationships
  • Drive technical knowledge sharing and documentation across departments

  • Deep Microsoft ecosystem knowledge including Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory/Group Policy, with strong PowerShell automation capabilities
  • Comprehensive experience with enterprise infrastructure including virtualization (vSphere, Hyper-V), storage solutions, and backup systems (particularly Veeam)
  • Advanced networking expertise spanning multiple firewall platforms, Citrix environments, and unified communications (Teams, Mitel, Gamma)
  • Proven experience implementing and managing hybrid cloud solutions, secure endpoint management, and enterprise infrastructure architectures
  • Strong background in technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and documentation across complex environments
  • Current knowledge of security practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends
  • Exceptional team leadership combined with strong project planning and resource management capabilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in ITIL frameworks, service delivery, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Outstanding communication skills (English fluency required) with ability to engage technical and business audiences effectively
