This is an exciting opportunity within the Post Office’s Inquiry team at a time when we are working hard to ensure that the next chapter of POL’s history is a bright one.
As the Inquiry Supplier Relationship Manager, you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships between the Post Office and the inquiry external legal providers. Responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships between POL and key external service providers, and our three key external legal advisers. Take on oversight of later stages of transition of work between strategic legal partners to deliver smooth transition to the new provider. Responsibility for leading on all relationship and contractual issues and renewals with these firms. Own the successful resolution of any issues escalated by POL stakeholders, the Inquiry programme team, or the suppliers. Your responsibilities will require you to support Programme and Finance colleagues in managing the significant spend under each of these contracts. Managing the tracking of suppliers’ compliance with service levels and the provision of MI and responsible for engaging with MI and ensuring we are receiving the appropriate level of service under the contract. Ensuring POL maximises the contractual levers it has put in place in its contracts to control service levels and spend.
