We are currently seeking a highly passionate Inside Sales Representative (German Speaker) to support our Public Sector Sales Team in Germany.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will showcase the ability to focus on an organisation’s initiatives, challenges, pain points and partner with an ecosystem of elite Field Sales, technical and operational partners. to bring value to those organisations through our sales process. You will

  • Create pipeline within the German Pub Sec using demand gen and prospecting tools
  • Find new opportunities and quickly develop rapport with new clients
  • Explore & identify new opportunities in new accounts and/or buying centres
  • Qualify these opportunities by deep diving into pain point and how Splunk can solve for it and applying the Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline methodology
  • Research and present business intelligence about customers and prospects
  • Generate business opportunities through professional networking and cold calling
  • Travel occasionally for training and/or meetings

What You Need To Be Successful In This Role

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in selling or generating demand for enterprise IT solutions (BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software or similar)
  • Experience within the public sector OR genuine interest to understand the specifics of German public organisations
  • Fluency in German and English language, both written and spoken
  • An ability to analyse business data to tell a compelling and actionable story
  • An ability to utilise prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Nav, Cognism, TechTarget, etc.
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Self-motivation and relentless in pursuit of creating their own success
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • High energy and contagious optimism
  • Confidence in handling of objections and conflict
  • Task prioritization, discipline, and accountability
  • A strong executive presence, with polish and dedication to customer outcomes
