Credera are looking for an Agency Channel Account Director to create new partnerships and nurture existing relationships across agencies within our parent company.

The Account Director position is accountable for revenue originated via our partnerships with intercompany agencies, covering both Consulting and Digital service offerings in the UK. This will be suited to someone with a consultative approach, who is comfortable working within the data & tech arenas of marketing. The role will focus on building new and growing existing relationships with senior agency stakeholders and client leads, to listen and understand what challenges are being faced by their clients in achieving their marketing outcomes, and identify which are the right offerings of Credera UK to, in partnership with their agency, unlock extraordinary results.

This is an important role within the business, responsible for identifying and managing new opportunities from current clients of our agency siblings, both articulating Credera’s existing propositions to wider business stakeholders and proposing them to the decision makers at the clients they are already serving.

This is a permanent role within our Growth function, collaborating closely with the Omnicom Channel Lead. We consider flexible ways of working, that allow the best outcomes for our people and clients. Working harmoniously with our agencies and their clients is key to successful outcomes, and so regular travel, to our Bankside offices, is a core requirement of the role.

This role will include interacting with Public Sector, Financial Services & Consumer sector clients, positioning technology capabilities most adjacent to marketing agencies, such as MarTech transformation (with the requisite change management), Marketing Operational Models, Salesforce, Adobe and AI.


Here’s what you will do

  • Contribute to the Agency Channel pipeline by helping to build a relatively new team that people aspire to be part of, is collaborative and value driven.
  • Collaborate with agency leaders and their client facing teams to understand their clients' painpoints and challenges. Identify where we can help and then liaise with our MarTech, Change Management or Data SMEs to build compelling proposals to drive better marketing and business outcomes for those clients. These activities will be conducted whist acting as an ambassador for Credera within Omnicom.
  • After a period of on-boarding and shadowing, become autonomous in generating new logo sales through the development of the above mentioned proposals, and generate existing client revenue growth from engagements originating from and/or collaborating with our Omnicom agency counterparts. Your activity will be focused on how the team can meet its annual revenue target of £6.5m in 2025.
  • Maintain close contact with the client delivery programmes that are in flight with our agency partners, prioritising our clients to bring the best of Credera to solve their most complex solutions.
  • Contribute to our go to market strategy, expanding our delivery at current clients and work with the Growth Function on new business generation.
  • Work with the Growth Function to develop new intra-agency commercial relationships and industry-specific propositions to take to market via Omnicom agencies.
  • Work with Growth Function Bid Management to develop compelling win strategies and run successful bid execution.
  • Qualify tenders in partnership with our parent company agencies, and where appropriate, develop bid responses (with operational bid support from the Growth Function).
  • Maintain a strong network of potential agency leaders, in positions to influence the addition of Credera to RFP responses, and enthuse them to actively promote Credera’s services to their existing clients. Attending networking events with peers from other agencies will be essential to nurturing and growing these relationships.
  • Build Credera's and personal eminence in the market, through thought leadership, public speaking and by achieving positive outcomes for our clients and Credera.
  • Help develop and inspire our talent through coaching, mentoring, and promoting Credera values of: People First, Excellence, Integrity, Tenacity and Humility within our firm and at our clients.


Responsibilities

We are seeking individuals who have a strong background in marketing driven by technology, familiarity with agency culture through working for long periods for or directly with agencies, and can demonstrate a track record in securing new logo clients and/or generating revenue growth. Evidence of developing clients into major accounts would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the shaping of the a channel with huge growth potential within Credera. You will identify new opportunities via relationships from across your existing, or newly built, personal Omnicom agency network, working with agency partners to research organisations’ martech transformation plans and identifying opportunities through a variety of channels. Working collaboratively with the Portfolio, Financial Services & Public Sector sales leads, you will support the development of the Omnicom Channel go to market strategy and execution of sales campaigns, pursuit plans and attendance at relevant events where you will present and demonstrate thought leadership across the range of services we have to offer.


Line management responsibilities for the role:

  • Initially, none
  • As the channel and its revenue grows, an Omnicom Account Director will oversee additional Omnicom Account Managers as the team expands.


Reporting Line

  • Reports to Omnicom Channel Lead, who in turn reports to Chief Growth Officer.


Responsible for the following Key Metrics/Success Factors:

  • Sold and Delivered Gross Margin on new & existing logos generated from Omnicom agency partnerships.
  • Agency & Client CSAT (Customer/Client Satisfaction Scores)
  • Revenue (existing and new client revenue)


Who you are?

You are perceptive, personable, culturally sensitive and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence. Being able to work collaboratively in a matrix organisation is essential, as is the ability to manage and nurture varied, senior stakeholder relationships. With your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have the ability to communicate technical information easily to your audience, particularly how marketing outcomes can be driven by data and technology enablement.


The following attributes are ideal:

  • Worked in a large marketing agency, in a business development role. You therefore
  • understand and can articulate the range of MarTech functionality and capabilities clients will need to power what they’re briefing their agency to achieve
  • understand the culture and ways of working of a large marketing agency
  • Demonstrable experience of closing new logo client sales work. Candidates should have a track record of managing and developing significant client accounts.
  • Played a senior role in technology and/or data-powered projects and campaigns which have made significant transformational impacts to a clients’ business
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to build a personal network which includes C-level individuals at client and key stake holders at influential partners such a technology vendors.
  • Any existing Omnicom agency personal network will be an advantage in hitting the ground running in this role, but is not a pre-requisite.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills. You’re as compelling on paper as you are in person.
  • Experience of working in and navigating highly complex, political and matrix environments.
  • The ability to understand, explain and present complex ideas to audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner.
  • Comfortable attending networking events and confident in public speaking situations, supporting Credera's overall brand profile.
  • A practical understanding of Credera's capabilities, and the ability to tailor these to specific client needs and problems
