About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Finance Officer for a social housing organisation in London.
Accountabilities
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Carry out purchase ledger activities
Assist with financial transactions
Ensure invoices are processed promptly
Ensure payments and accounting records are accurate
Ensure bank statements are downloaded daily
Prepare Housing Benefit receipts and post to tenants’ accounts
Prepare rent and other invoices as and when required
Record tenants’ deposits on the Deposit Protection Service
Process any rent refunds as required in line with agreed procedures
Candidate Requirements
Part qualified AAT or equivalent
Available to start at short notice
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong excel skills
Solid knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures
