Internal Audit Manager for a Global Insurance Broker

Miryco Consultants are working with a global insurance broker to appoint an Internal Audit Manager to support the Internal Audit Leadership Group and the Head of Internal Audit. This is due to significant and rapid growth and expansion in the UK and overseas operations within the business.

This is a great role for an internal auditor to work in a growing global function with the optional opportunity for frequential international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership - Supporting the Internal Audit Leadership Group to design and implement risk-based audit plans for regional and global operations.
• Risk Assessment and Audit Planning - Supporting the Internal Audit Leadership Group in preparing comprehensive risk assessments of the business to timely identify risks and key areas of focus for internal audits.
• Developing detailed audit plans, this includes scoping, methodologies, objectives.
• Audit Execution and Reporting - Responsible for end to end audit engagements.
• Stakeholder Engagement and relationship management - Building and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders externally and across business units.

Experience/Qualifications Needed:

• Fully qualified ACCA/ ACA
• 2+ years post-qualified and relevant professional audit/ finance experience. (Insurance experience preferred)
• Knowledge of additional language is desirable (Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin)
