Internal Auditor

Due to team expansion we are now looking to recruit a Internal Auditor.
Within this role, you will work closely with a range of stakeholder at all levels, and provide the board and management with independent, risk based, and objective assurance, advice, insight and foresight.
Key Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor:
- Participate / Lead Internal Audit reviews following a risk-based methodology aligned to best practice.
- Prepare informative, targeted and concise audit reports.
- Develop relationship with business stakeholders to enhance management risk awareness.
- Work/establish yourself as a subject matter expert in a key risk area.
- Monitor and report upon open audit issues.
- Assist in developing a methodology in line with IIA guidance.
- Make contributions to the risk assessment of the Banks activities.
- Help develop other team members to improve quality and standards.
- Contribute with the communication and reporting information for stakeholders.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A strong understanding of Internal Audit best practice methodology.
- Compliance experience in financial services.
- Subject matter expertise in either a risk or product area (regulation, technology, trade finance).
- Data analytics experience.
