Investment Accounting & Reporting Manager

JSS are pleased to be partnered with a lean, insurance business specifically in their dynamic Asset Management function.

This opportunity is a great step for someone wanting more investment exposure and line management responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership and management of the investment accounting team, including delegation and prioritization of deliverables, team member appraisals and training and development.
• Ensuring investment accounting records are maintained in line with IFRS
• Development and maintenance of key accounting policies.
• Ensuring a robust governance and control environment is maintained within the investment accounting function. Including the development and maintenance of key process and control documentation in line with best practice.
• Preparation and on-time delivery of all investment reporting, including internal management reporting, Board and Investment Committee reports and other adhoc reporting and analysis as required.
• Management of the statutory reporting process for investment accounting, including preparation of key financial statement information and disclosures under IFRS and FReM.

Ideal candidate:

• ACA qualified with 4+ years PQE
• Proven team leadership/management skills
• Demonstrable interest in investment markets and industry
• IFRS 9 experience is desirable

£80,000-£100,000 plus bonus and other benefits
