IT Category Manager

An opportunity to join a transforming FTSE100 as they pivot to a centralised procurement function and expand the team. The IT Category Manager will be responsible for driving category strategy with a broad remit incorporating elements of sourcing, category management and SRM within a transforming environment. Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Procurement to deliver IT category strategies and take the lead for defining and executing sub category strategies.
• Implement SRM processes across sub categories.
• Lead procurement projects that result in positive commercial outcomes.

To be considered:

• Category Manager / Procurement Manager with end to end procurement experience within a a large corporate environment.
• IT / technology category experience and able to evidence defining and executing category plans.
• Able to lead and steer commercial conversations.

On offer

• £70,000 - £75,000.
• Hybrid - London c1 day / week.
• Be part of a large scale transformation project with exposure at CXO level.
