Your Role at Vertice:

Following our global expansion, we are looking for a passionate IT Support Engineer to support our colleagues day-to-day activities and join our efforts of managing Vertices cyber-assets.

As an IT Support Engineer you'll collaborate with various departments and other teams and be responsible for performing functions such as evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of hardware and services supporting the business and its employees. Other functions include supporting general IT systems and hardware in multiple offices and geographies along with security and software requirements for the business.

You will wear many hats and be involved in everything from documentation to troubleshooting technical issues related to our IT infrastructure and third party tools.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide day to day maintenance, troubleshooting and support to Vertice's internal IT systems, including internet connectivity for employees based in Vertice offices across the globe.
  • Provide all levels of IT support and training to internal staff, collaborating with internal and external resources (vendors) as necessary to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Help standardise software, equipment, and processes across the company
  • Develop and document new support and operations processes
  • Manage equipment orders, tools access, setup, and configuration for new hires, contractors, and Vertice partners
  • Secure user's account information, including access, permissions, and systems groups, and perform system administration functions
  • Track, maintain and own costs for Vertices hardware and software inventory; manage software updates, assets, and licences
  • With the assistance manage IT partnerships and purchase of products or services as required for IT projects
  • Prepare and present metrics, activity and progress reports regarding projects, tasks, and operations
  • Use automation to improve current IT processes
  • Occasional Travel to company branches
  • Brainstorming and implementing innovative solutions to how we manage IT and related assets as we continue to scale globally

What we're looking for:

  • You have experience in a similar technical role
  • Experience of portable (macOS & Windows) IT systems administration and device management (MDM)
  • Knowledge of Cloud based services like Google Workspace and Atlassian products
  • Good documentation and organisation skills
  • Sound networking experience
  • Have good people and communication skills
