Salary: Grade 5 SP 16 - 20 (£31,585 - £35,234 per annum)

How will you spend your days?
IT Team Managers Work Closely With Central And Cluster/Hub (Club) Staff To Ensure The Delivery Of High-quality ICT Services Across The Trust. Your Day-to-day Work Usually Involves
- line management of local hub IT staff, providing support, guidance and mentoring as required
- ensuring local hub IT staff workload is well managed, prioritised and monitored
- ensuring continuity of ICT systems provision and security of data
- ensuring the highest level of service is maintained and focused on the requirement to keep all elements of the ICT service 100% safe, secure, compliant and available
- acting as 2nd line escalation point for 1st line IT Technicians and the communications and escalation link to the central Trusts 3rd line support
- liaising with and supporting 3rd line central Engineers
- acting as the escalation point for service desk tickets
- liaising with the Service Desk Manager
Skills And Experience Youll Need
- extensive knowledge and experience of working with the Microsoft product set, including but not limited to; servers and desktop operating systems, applications and applications suits and Microsoft Office 365
- extensive knowledge and experience of working with multiple ICT technologies including Google and Apple
- experience of driving through effective change sensitive to the needs of the organisation
- a proven track record in using development methodologies or recognised project management techniques to deliver successful ICT developments
- proven experience in ensuring a safe, secure and compliant ICT environment
- excellent organisational skills
- a creative approach leading to solution focused results
- energy, drive, enthusiasm and ideas for improving business results
- interest and ability in developing the staff within and beyond the team
- the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- a patient and methodical approach

Travel between schools within your hub will be required and candidates will therefore require your own car. Where possible, we look to deploy technicians close to their home base to reduce the environmental and financial impact of travel for work. We have a travel claims policy to ensure you are supported on travel requirements of the role.
A Full Enhanced DBS check will also be required for the successful candidate.
