Job Description
What you’ll do as a IT Vendor and Commercial Analyst
- Undertake skilled technical tasks self-sufficiently to manage assigned suppliers within a multi-vendor IT supplier ecosystem.
- Manage risk and compliance issues associated with supplier performance.
- Promote the benefits of supplier and commercial management cross functionally.
- Perform assignments requiring cross-functional interaction.
- Establish integrity in pricing models in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard formats.
- Negotiate and manage for best value delivery from vendors.
- Act as a focal point for customers/vendors regarding contract and supply chain issues.
- Contribute to the identification of solutions for areas of potential risk /opportunity e.g. sub-contract risk, liability and exchange rate exposure etc. and refer findings to senior members of the team.
- Draft and prepare, or review, contract, statements of work, license and project change notes in line with standard operating procedures.
- Contractual spend approvals within delegated authority.
- Deputise for the IT Commercial Manager when required.

- Able to develop an understanding of domain specific markets, customers/ supply chain.
- A good working knowledge and understanding of the specific competencies associated with commercial management is key, along with the ability to apply them with supervision and direction.
- Domain specific experience is not essential, but a proven ability to transfer skills and knowledge is.
- Flexible, resilient and independent. You will be comfortable in managing multiple divergent requirements and driving issues to conclusion..
