As a Consultant, Managed Services - Functional Distribution / EMEA you will:

Ensuring client requirements are met by actively soliciting, identifying, and responding to customer questions and assisting with issue resolution which may involve one or more of the following:

Providing users with workarounds

Troubleshooting or debugging with developers

Proposing SQL fixes to database tables Identifying ESUs or liaising with Oracle for bug fixes

Identification and resolution of JDE system errors

Update and maintenance of JDE configuration

Guidance to users to follow correct JDE procedures

Proactive and reactive maintenance of JDE systems from a Functional perspective

Project specification and testing of new customised JDE applications or modifications to existing JDE applications

Consultants should be comfortable working with highly knowledgeable JD Edwards end-users and able to quickly understand unique client requirements and configurations

The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a JDE application support or consulting capacity

Experience in Warehouse Management would be advantageous

Understanding of business concepts & strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to learn new functionality and customer customisations
