12 month Fixed Term Contract
We are excited to hire a Junior Contributor Relations Analyst to join LSEG's EMEA Contributions team .This is a fantastic opportunity to assist deals contributions across Investment Banking. The successful candidate will support our team's senior contributor relations managers in the below critical functions:
Deals Relations Strategy
Supporting our team’s strategic goals, you will be required to engage with market transactors, marketing teams & direct lenders to source and confirm deal information. There will be an ask to navigate key direct lending press releases pages and engage with their spokes people. Assisting with growing our contributor base and re-engagement with inactive firms will also be key.
Deals Relations Support
Assisting our wider team, you will respond to client data requests and handle survey deadlines for financial and legal clients. Our team collectively works to maintain the highest standards of data integrity and you will support interrogation of data to ensure quality.
LSEG offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, with an expectation of a minimum of three days in the office.
Some of the daily tasks you will perform include:
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with syndicate desks, marketing teams, M&A teams, direct lenders and beyond through regular contact & outreach via email, phone and potentially in-person meetings
- Expand the contributor base to increase the breadth and depth of Deal’s content on LSEG’s platforms
- Demonstrate the value of LSEG’s Deals products and franchise to internal commercial teams, clients, and prospects
- Communicate our quarterly survey processes with contributors
- Conduct outreach to check various data and harvest additional information
- Run transaction lists from LSEG Workspace
Education Background
- BA/BSC in finance/accounting, economics, statistics or other related field
Key Required Skills
- Willingness and ability to work with multiple teams and personalities across our groups, including for instance strategy, sales, product management, editorial and other analysts
- High attention to detail
- Passion for the financial sector
- An understanding of deal making (M&A and/or Capital Markets) would be very useful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills/excellent social skills
- Shown ability to build and maintain a wide internal and external relationship network
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
- Candidate to demonstrate they are both a great teammate and are self-motivated
Desired Skills (Nice To Have)
- Experience working in the financial industry
- Knowledge of the financial information services industry
- Knowledge of Investment Banking Deal Making (M&A or Capital Markets)
- Familiarity with one or more financial information platforms (e.g., Workspace, FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg)
- European Language skills would be an advantage
