Interesting opportunity for an experienced Investment Funds lawyer to join a leading US Law Firm

The Team

The client’s Investment Funds team offers interesting and complex work in a collegiate environment. They have extensive experience assisting fund sponsors and investors across the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa in finding innovative solutions to the challenges they face, and their clients include the full spectrum of investment funds.

The Role

This is a growth role with career progression on offer.

This role will have you advising fund managers on the structuring, establishment and launch of private funds within a wide range of sectors. This would include private equity, infrastructure, hedge, and hybrid funds. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, whilst also being able to work well in a team.

Key areas of work may include (but not limited to):

• Drafting and negotiating of PPMs, LPAs, Articles, Management Agreements;
• Preparing Subscription Documents and Side Letters; and
• Associate M&A transactions.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will have 5 years + proven experience in Investment Funds from a highly respected firm.

You will ideally also have these qualities:

• Highly relevant experience in general funds matters and be looking for a long-term career.
• A first-class academic background.
• Significant attention to detail.
• Exhibits professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task, and excellent organisational, prioritisation skills.
• Exceptional Communication skills.
• In addition, the successful candidate will be required to adhere to the firm's internal policies and procedures.

Candidates MUST be a qualified solicitor.
