We’re seeking a skilled Lead Security Architect to join our Metis team, responsible for the Home Office’s implementation of the Oracle Fusion ERP system. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead security engagements, ensure adherence to design standards, and collaborate across teams to build secure, innovative solutions that protect our systems and data.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the vision, strategy, and principles defined by the Principal Security Architect, aligning with portfolio and departmental needs.
- Lead security engagements for projects, fostering collaboration across business lines to address common challenges.
- Champion 'secure by design,' ensuring security is integral to quality and owned by program, project, and service managers.
- Stay informed on industry developments to maintain a secure and up-to-date technology landscape.
- Recommend security controls and solutions that align with business objectives, balancing risks and requirements effectively.
- Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders, influencing teams to implement security standards and assess risks for key technologies and changes.
What You’ll Bring
- Lead and evaluate secure designs for major products and services, driving innovation and setting direction.
- Make informed risk decisions using assurance methodologies, clearly explaining outcomes.
- Apply security concepts across projects, leveraging tools, technologies, and frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Translate cyber risk analysis into actionable standards and approaches for emerging technologies.
- Utilise NCSC guidance and architecture methodologies (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF) to ensure robust solutions.
