We have an exciting new opportunity for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team supporting colleagues with advice and guidance on training needs across the Group.
As Learning & Development Specialist you will support with the identification and design of learning solutions and projects to aid development and upskill employees in the business, through apprenticeships, work placements and graduate schemes.
Main Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Talent, Learning & Development Manager you will support colleagues with advice and guidance on training needs to ensure delivery of high-quality development and training to staff.
- Supporting with the identification and design (where appropriate) of learning solutions and delivery of relevant business projects.
- Coaching managers and facilitating discussion on learning needs and conducting gap analysis to identify specific requirements
- Monitoring and evaluating learning programmes and the effectiveness of these within the business, making improvements when required
- Engage with the business providing information, advice and guidance relevant to learning and development solutions including apprenticeships, work placements and professional qualifications
- Supporting succession planning and talent management processes, implementing development solutions for future successors to senior/business critical roles
Our Successful Candidate:
We Are Looking For a Proven L&D Professional With Demonstrable Experience Deliverying Learning & Development Interventions. Alongside This, We Are Looking An Enthusiastic, Self-starter With a Keen Interest In Supporting The Growth Of Our Employees And Enabling The Long Term Development Of Our Teams. You Will Need To Display
- CIPD qualified, and willing to work towards a Chartered Membership or equivalent in Learning & Development
- Significant experience in developing and delivering high quality learning and development solutions and programmes
- Previous experience working within a similar role in a Learning & Development environment
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across the business to coach, advise and guide where appropriate
- Experience providing information, advice and guidance to a broad range of audiences
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
