What to expect
Here at the Post Office, we’re steeped in tradition, but we’re going places.
Like all other retailers, Post Office must continue to transform if it is to execute its forward-facing strategy. This, coupled with the well-publicised broader context that Post Office is navigating, requires the Legal Counsel to have a high performing and effective Remediation Unit to ensure Post Office can atone for its past and rebuild trust with Postmasters and customers.
The Remediation Unit has been formed within Post Office to resolve certain legacy issues facing Post Office in connection with its dealings with Postmasters.
As a Legal Counsel you will bring your legal dispute and claims assessment experience to this role and manage historical claims received from Postmasters. You will be working alongside key stakeholders in the remediation unit, the legal department, external legal team, and the wider business.
This is an opportunity to be part of a team that is changing the Post Office for the better and supporting our Postmasters. You will get hands on experience dealing with complex inquiry cases.
