About The Role
Legal Operations brings together a multi-disciplinary approach combining knowledge and skills across the legal, regulatory, data, technology and delivery management domains. We deliver successful business outcomes on a range of different types of work at varying scales including; managing large data-led contract remediation engagements, providing legal support on individual contract negotiations and running client outreach and query management helpdesks.
This opportunity is in our rapidly growing Commercial Law team within the Legal Operations business, an operational delivery team made up of paralegals and legal professionals working for a wide range of clients from sectors such as Luxury brands, Banks, Manufacturing and more.
What Your Days Will Look Like
The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but may include:
- The planning and execution of large, complex, and strategically significant client programmes
- Understanding our strategy to design and plan initiatives and to shape delivery & Driving standardisation and best in class quality through the use of our accredited framework and methodologies
- Mobilisation and leading cross-functional teams across our client programmes
- Driving and maintaining senior leadership and client engagement & helping to position our services and capability across the PwC network, building and holding relationships with Partners
This role is for you if you have
- Must possess Legal qualification in any recognised Common Law or European jurisdiction (or international equivalent)
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts preferably at an in-house legal department or leading law firm
- Experience in project management and/or management consulting role. Knows the tools (eg. change management, planning, risk management, strong communication), when to use them, when not to use them, and when it’s time to create new ones
- Proven strength in positions of leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire, and lead teams
- Ability to promote new ideas and services by applying knowledge of the industry/sector and societal trends to create value for clients and broader stakeholders
- Strong influencer who is highly competent at connecting across organisational, programme, and project levels
- Comfortable working with, presenting to, and facilitating decisions among senior stakeholders
- Able to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo
