About the role:
The Data Lead will provide comprehensive support to both the Savings division and the Marketing function, ensuring data is understood, controlled and suitable for business and wider stakeholder consumption. They will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and maintenance of the division’s Tableau report suite, ensuring its accuracy and integrity, to support business intelligence and decision-making.
Key Areas
- Originate a portfolio of high quality property development loans and client relationships ensuring that the Bank meets its strategic goals and that the Department exceeds its target financial performance.
- Full lifecycle management of deals from initial enquiries/proposals, negotiations with all parties, submissions to Credit Committee, through to loan drawdown and on-going monitoring during term. This part of the role is supported by the Development Finance Case Management team.
- Assume primary responsibility for a portfolio of customer relationships ensuring that the Bank’s interests are protected at all times and that the conduct of loans is in line with expectations through to full repayment.
Qualifications/Experience
- Proven track record of successful residential and commercial property lending
- Extensive and established contacts within the UK commercial property sector across borrowers, lawyers, valuers, surveyors and other professional intermediaries
- In-depth knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, residential and commercial property development
- Understanding and appreciation of market trends and an ability to create innovative funding solutions to meet changing market opportunities
