Are you a university student looking for an exciting year 3 industry placement? Our Operational teams based in Northamptonshire have a fantastic opportunity just for you! We're on the hunt for a hardworking individual to work at two of our high-profile customer operational sites.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As a key player in the team, you will engage in a variety of open and closed book customer contracts and help to facilitate operational tasks using a structured, methodical approach. You will collaborate with a diverse range of local colleagues to improve customer experience and foster team cooperation. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement across our sites, promoting a culture of vigilance and responsible logistics.
During your 12-month program, you will spend six months working at two different high-profile customer contract sites based on our KetCo Campus. You will rotate across multiple departments and your work schedule will include a mix of office hours (08:00 to 17:00), early shifts (07:00 to 15:00) and late shifts (15:00 to 23:00). We therefore seek someone with a flexible schedule who can adapt their shift timings to meet the peak periods of the operation.
At the end of each six-month period, you will be expected to create and present a project to the general management team. This will allow you to further build upon the skills, knowledge and understanding you have gathered over your placement.

We are seeking a placement student who excels in time management to thrive in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, with exceptional attention to detail and strong grammatical and linguistic skills. It is desirable for the successful individual to be pursuing a degree in logistics and supply chain management, with a foundational understanding of operational contracts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies and knowledge of continuous improvement techniques would be advantageous.
Additionally, the role may require travel to various sites across the UK, so a valid driving license and access to a car are necessary.
