About the show:
Paradise Under The Stars is a brand new production inspired by the legendary Tropicana Club in Havana. A 7-piece Cuban band, singers and dancers lead this immersive, music-led production transporting audiences to the club’s exotic, heyday in the 50s. As with all TLE productions, hospitality will be integrated with menus inspired by the recipes of the Tropicana, traditional Cuban food and iconic Cuban mixology.
The creative team includes renowned Cuban artists such as choreographer Luanda Pau (whose mother was resident choreographer at the Tropicana for 20 years), co-musical director Yelfris Valdez (trumpet player with the legendary Cuban band, Sierra Maestra) and associate choreographer and performer, Maikel Motam
About the role:
The LX1 role reports to the Show Manager and Production Manager and is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of the lighting on the show.
You will be working from ETC Eos Family consoles/systems and QLab and will be responsible for regular reactive and planned maintenance to the LX system, daily rig checks and keeping the prompt copy up to date. This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role that is well suited to someone who has held venue technician and/or LX roles in theatre or live events.
We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 year’s experience in these disciplines, ideally within immersive and/or site-specific productions.

Rates: £800 per 8-show week + pension and holiday pay
Dates: 28th February 2025 - 5th October 2025
Performance days: Tuesday - Sunday evenings, matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
