Role Overview

PURPOSE OF JOB

The role is aligned and sits within the Finance Team based in London.

The role holder will be responsible for Management of the Operations team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across multiple jurisdictions with high revenue and transactional activity, provide training and mentorship to junior staff, and collaborate with administrative teams on complex billing requests.

Main Responsibilities And Duties

  • Management of the team responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual billing process for Administrative Teams for assigned jurisdictions in accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in annual fee review process coordination with both Commercial Office and Administration Teams to determine uplifts to existing fees and roll delivery of new potential fees, for review, approval, and billing.
  • Oversight of multiple billing email boxes to ensure delegation of work within team ensuring timely and appropriate responses to inquiries and requests.
  • Review and approval of more complex ad hoc billing requests.
  • Liaise with Administration Teams to promote adherence to deadlines and provide necessary training relating to billing processes.
  • Provide support in respect of billing processes review and identification of improvements.
  • Manage documentation of the Processes & Procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure all financial operations align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance in financial operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and analyses of junior team members to provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous Line Manager experience and reviewing junior team member's work.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
