About The Role
We are seeking our next Managing Director for UK Education to build upon the successful leadership of Jill Duffy. The new Managing Director will drive strategic priorities, focussing on growth, modernisation, digital transformation, quality, compliance, and economic sustainability.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the UK Education group, which has grown over the last 5 years by delivering outstanding customer service, innovating for students and teachers, and leading sector reform. Our exam board, OCR, and the Cambridge Centre for Evaluation & Monitoring (CEM) are at the forefront of providing qualifications and evidence-based assessments that enable all students to reach their full potential.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a member of the Executive Board, the Managing Director will ensure Cambridge offers market-leading solutions that enhance learner and educator experiences, promote accessibility and inclusion, and address critical topics like climate change education. Collaboration with the Managing Director of International Education will be key to aligning customer engagement and product development.
Success in this role requires building strong external relationships, responding to policy developments, leveraging technology effectively, and upholding Cambridge's reputation as a trusted partner in educational reform.
