The role
Sedex is looking for a skilled and strategic
Marketing Automation Managerto join our team. As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will take charge of optimizing our marketing operations, with a key focus on maximizing HubSpot’s capabilities and managing effective marketing campaigns. This role demands a combination of strategic insight, technical proficiency, and hands-on execution to deliver impactful marketing initiatives and drive revenue growth across new business and our current customers.

Key Responsibilities
HubSpot & Marketing Automation:
- Serve as the primary owner of HubSpot across marketing, ensuring its full utilization and optimization.
- Partner with our teams to create and enhance nurture campaigns that engage ICP audiences throughout the buyer’s journey.
- Continuously improve the lead scoring model for more accurate targeting and conversions.
- Use HubSpot to launch campaigns, build landing pages, and manage marketing assets.
- Own and manage integrated platforms with HubSpot, ensuring correct set up and optimise performance.
Data & Reporting Ownership
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track marketing KPIs and other essential metrics.
- Manage lead uploads and enhance marketing datasets to maintain high data quality standards, ensuring all tracking is optimised and marketing touchpoints are tagged throughout the buyers journey.
- Regularly analyse HubSpot and Salesforce databases to identify opportunities for campaigns that drive revenue and pipeline growth.
- Lead data-driven decision-making by being the go-to expert on marketing data and performance metrics.
Platforms & Technology Management
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and campaign performance.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in marketing operations, especially in AI-powered solutions.
- Train marketing team as needed to optimize their use of HubSpot and other marketing tools.
Process & Documentation
- Work closely with marketing leaders to define and manage lead lifecycle stages and the sales funnel.
- Maintain and manage the knowledge base for the marketing team, ensuring that all critical processes are well-documented and up-to-date.
- Support the team with other marketing operations tasks
- Manage marketing budget, working closely the the marketing team leaders and finance to ensure accurate spend reporting and attribution
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- +4 years of experience in Marketing Operations, with extensive HubSpot experience in a B2B environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional team environments.
- Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving ability.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce.
- HubSpot Marketing certification is required.
- Bonus: Experience with additional platforms like 6Sense, SalesLoft, and Cognism.
