Trustpilot is embarking on an exciting global growth journey and is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to further the support of our Growth and Regional Marketing teams.
This Role Will Provide Two Critical Elements To Marketing
Trustpilot is growing fast. However, support of this growth is increasingly dependent on the systems and processes.
- Marketing automation configuration and hygiene (keeping on top of our systems, installing confidence in our data and building out sophisticated journeys to support our customers along their customer lifecycle with Trustpilot)
- Be the internal expert when it comes to marketing automation and be accountable for the development and implementation of our marketing automation platform
The Marketing Automation Specialist will work closely with key stakeholders across the commercial organisation to help drive a more effective marketing organisation.This is an engaging and hands-on role, so will suit an individual who is able to prioritse, plan and execute on operational activities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with the Marketing team to build best-in-class performing automation programs (Email, Event, Nurture) that create quality demand efficiently, at scale
- Responsible for creating and partnering with Marketing team members to work on: email builds/sends, landing pages, dynamic content, list imports, database management, and multi-tool orchestration
- Create campaigns to support nurture, scoring, event promotion, and data management
- Have a clear understanding of the following areas: the framework of campaigns, lead routing, and data management between sales and marketing systems
- Support the Marketing team with the planning and execution of strategic marketing automation projects like segmentation, deliverability, email performance reporting, and opt-in database growth
- Work cross-departmentally to obtain critical information and satisfy internal stakeholders.
- Key to success in this role will be an ability to manage multiple agendas from the Senior Leadership Team, while using well developed influencing skills to deliver the required outcomes of Marketing
Who You Are
- Strong experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Adobe Marketo, HubSpot etc. including hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and/or Mobile Studio
- Proficiency in AMPscript for customisation and advanced automation within Marketing Cloud
- Solid understanding of marketing automation concepts, strategies, and best practices
- Experience with data integration and APIs, particularly in connecting Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer) are highly desirable
- Experience working in a consultancy or client-facing environment is also desirable
- Circa 5 years of experience in marketing automation; must be proficient in Marketing Cloud, Marketo etc. and understand CRM integration (Salesforce CRM preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in marketing automation and inbound/ outbound best practices and interdependencies with other tools (webinar platforms, CRM)
- Excellent communication and desire to improve processes
- Supported highly complex processes and demonstrable ability to understand the framework of campaigns.
- Strong understanding of marketing metrics including analytics and reporting
- Experience in developing and optimizing lead management and campaign management processes with tangible impact on company efficiency
- A hands-on, “can do” attitude, and a drive for outcome focussed performance
We Are
A small but mighty team supporting our global marketing department. The Marketing Operations team is currently based in London and New York and we are growing quickly to support the growing requirements of our Prospect/ Customer Marketing efforts and also develop our Consumer Marketing strategy globally. We are responsible for the day to day management and overall health of our Marketing Technology stack and manage various integrations and deployment of new systems and technologies. We are accountable for the Marketing attribution models, reporting on and building marketing dashboards and supporting our various Marketing stakeholders.
As a team we use Monday to track all incoming tasks and requests from our peers in the Marketing department, this is where we measure success for our quarterly objectives and key results.
