Job Summary

A senior level global marketing communications position is available at one of the world’s best flavor and ingredient companies. This position is dedicated to crafting dynamic and salient content driving the narrative of IFF’s capabilities in delivering consumer-preferred experiences around the world. If you are a fantastic copywriter and marketing maven with 10+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, this position could be for you.

The successful candidate will be based in Europe, ideally i.e. near our Hilversum, NL site or other sites in Europe (for example in France or UK). There is no relocation with this position.

As the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications for Dairy and Bakery, you will spend your time in the following areas…

Communications Strategy & Leadership – Map and formulate the opportunities and roadmap for new Dairy and Bakery positionings and communications campaigns aligned with category growth initiatives and holistic flavors growth targets. Amplify differentiation vs. competition and incorporate industry trends, consumer/business intelligence, performance data, insights, and best practices.

Content Creation - Direct the process and narrative content creation to develop compelling stories which communicate IFF’s excellence in flavors and unquestionable credentials as our customers’ partner-of-choice in delivering solutions for Dairy and Bakery. Liaise effectively with key internal stakeholders and collaborators, along with selected external vendors. Publish best-in-class content which solidifies IFF as the number one communicator of capabilities and instills pride in our organization about how we communicate to the world.

Brand Stewardship - Drive the creation of branded content and stories that set IFF apart in the global food and beverage arena. Maintain brand consistency and deliver on-brand content to targeted audiences.

Your Skills/Experience

Significant work experience and expertise in both Dairy and Bakery Flavors are strongly preferred.

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, Journalism, English or related field; or Bachelor of Science degree with strong proven written and verbal communications skills.
• Degree in/knowledge of Food Science is a plus, with emphasis on Dairy and Bakery.
• Passion for writing - creating beautiful and compelling copy at the highest standards.
• 10+ years’ minimum work experience in the Food & Beverage industry including Flavors/Taste Marketing or Communications functions.
• Trainings/Certifications in Marketing or Communications Strategy.
• Comfortable working in a global matrixed organization and collaborating across internal teams and functions in an effective and agile way.
• Both big picture and detail oriented.
