What's the role?
Your primary responsibility as Marketing Email Executive is to manage our email and text customer journey which includes creating new content, keeping our content up to date with market news and working with our energy suppliers to meet their customer journey needs. This role will also require you to analyse our digital metrics to track trends and be confident to change processes where needed.
This role demands a self-motivated, driven and confident personality who will build on current process and strive for improvement.
Relevant experience in email campaign creation and management is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create email templates and text messages in our comms platform IMI (Cisco platform).
- Create new customer journey process maps when required such as for a new enrolment scheme.
- Produce branded and co-branded assets and imagery for our content.
- Deliver information about the weekly performance of our email and text campaigns.
- Day to day communication with other departments to find areas which could benefit from automated customer journeys.
- Monitor feedback from customer surveys to find areas of improvement in our journeys
- Work closely with Group Marketing to ensure brand and tone of voice remain in-line with Company guidelines.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have/be:
- Relevant experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns within a CRM environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of email best practices such as subject lines, messaging, UTM links and customer segmentation.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR requirements and practices.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Advanced knowledge of email template creation, email flow creation, email automation.
- Excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills to produce campaigns on time and to a high standard.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to an evolving environment and industry.
- Experience of Photoshop or other graphic design platforms such as Canva would be desirable.
- HTML/CSS knowledge preferred but not essential.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis. All of our roles are based on 40 hours per week, with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch.
