The Role

We have a great new opportunity; we’re looking for a creative yet meticulous Brand Marketing Executive to support the Speciality Brands Managers in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns. Approaching campaigns creatively, you’ll come up with innovative ideas for new and existing products, developing these into well-reasoned proposals and marketing plans to ensure we’re using our budgets wisely. You’ll also create and maintain performance dashboards, monitoring trends using market analytics and researching competitive intelligence, helping build our product and company profile.

Working across our speciality brand product portfolio, you’ll be supporting the brand managers to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies, monitoring performance of marketing campaigns and identify areas which require adjustment.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll oversee a range of different marketing projects – this could include creating digital content and price lists in-house, overseeing app and website development with our creative agencies, organising events and training seminars for our Sales teams, or supporting product launches with new print and digital materials. To support the smooth running of the department, you’ll build in time to ensure all materials are fully approved with Compliance, use analytics tools and campaign data to report on progress against KPI targets and adjust activity focus to maximise ROI, as required.

The Person

• Experience of working in a highly regulated industry (e.g. pharma, food, finance) would be beneficial, and a familiarity of the ABPI code would be essential, and be prepared to sit the ABPI exam within their first year of Pharma employment”
• Self-motivated, keen to learn and proactive in approach – able to see the big picture and think ahead to anticipate issues before they arise.
• Excellent organisation skills – able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines, think on your feet to solve problems and maintain a high level of accuracy, even in a changeable work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (in written and spoken English), able to relate to colleagues and customers at all levels and navigate cultural differences with ease.
• Good research and analysis skills, with the ability to translate ideas into reasoned proposals.
• Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills across Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• A qualification in a Marketing, Digital Marketing or Communications subject (or equivalent).
