What is the role?

We’re looking for a motivated Marketing Executive to join our growing Marketing team.

Reporting into our Head of Brand & Customer Marketing, your primary responsibility will be supporting both the Corporate and Consumer sides of the business with Brand health. You’ll combine creativity with a can-do attitude to enhance our current offering of marketing collateral and events, that will result in leads, brand awareness and positive perceptions of the brand.

The variety and breadth of the role makes it ideal for a marketer looking to broaden their overall marketing experience in the financial services sector.

You’ll partner across the wider Marketing team, including CRM, Content and Digital Marketing, and work alongside the Revenue and Sales teams, to ensure activities that will drive the Lumon Corporate and Lumon Private marketing strategy are delivered and executed to a high standard, whilst having the opportunity to develop your understanding of how marketing influences the commercial performance of a business.

This is a critical role for the business, and you’ll be fully emersed in the short term trading and long term strategy development to deliver the next phase of growth for Lumon. You can expect high levels of access and exposure to executive leadership and ongoing professional development support in a collaborative, supportive and inclusive team & culture.

What will you be doing day to day?

· Brief creatives to produce a wide array of marketing advertising and collateral including: print adverts, brochures, radio ads, event flyers, sales pitch decks, social media posts etc. that contribute towards brand awareness and positive perceptions of Lumon.

· Execute the marketing events strategy for our two divisions: Lumon Corporate and Lumon Private. Focusing on brand awareness, lead generation and ongoing client engagement. Some infrequent travel to events will be required as part of this role.

· Ensure the brand identity developed for both the Lumon Corporate & Private divisions is consistent across all marketing collateral.

· Support Lumon’s international growth ambitions by planning and executing above the line campaigns in multiple countries, including Portugal, France and Spain.

· Orchestrate all aspects of marketing events, from initial planning to post-event analysis. You’ll work closely with internal teams (Sales, CRM, Content), designers, and external vendors & organisers, to manage collateral creation, comms, timelines, bookings and payments, to ensure seamless execution.

· Your events will require creativity, planning, and excellent organisational skills, and will resonate with attendees and drive business goals.

· Post-campaign reviews to ensure you can take learnings through to future activities, and ongoing analysis of the impact of events that can be presented to the business to inform future investment decisions.

· Ensure that all activity can be measured, analysed and reported back to the business on ROI, demonstrating progress toward goals.

· Incorporate consumer insight and user research learnings into activity to optimise results.

· Manage day to day relationships of third-party partners, including event owners, marketing agencies and designers.

· Develop strong relationships with the Revenue and Sales team, and the Product and Engineering team to collaborate on strategy to drive the Lumon growth aspirations. You’ll benefit from frequent exposure to senior stakeholders across the business including the Marketing Director, Partnership Directors and Managing Directors that will help with your business acumen and career development.

· Work closely with peers across other marketing pillars (digital marketing, content and CRM) to ensure consistent approach to both Priv & Corporate Marketing & Brand proposition storytelling.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation across the marketing strategy.

· Ensure all communication adheres to the relevant regulatory requirements.

· Contribute to a customer centric culture by continually putting customers at the heart of all business decisions.

· Constantly bring the outside in, sharing best in class examples from both within and beyond the industry – be that in terms of technology, contact strategy, content, execution etc.

- Your career to date demonstrates a focus on fulfilling your potential and enabling others around you to do the same.
