TT Club - Marketing Executive


TT Club was established in 1968 as a mutual association and is the international transport and logistics industry’s leading provider of insurance and related risk management services.


The Club has an outsourced marketing model (working closely with a number of specialist third-party suppliers) and requires an energetic, driven and passionate marketer to effectively align marketing with the needs of the business.


This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic B2B marketer who is prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and play a key role in the future development of the business.


Overall Objective of Role:


To support a range of marketing activities that will ensure the delivery of the TT Club’s Global Marketing Plan. The Marketing Executive will work closely with and under the supervision of the TT Club Marketing Manager and progress key marketing skills including digital marketing, communications, PR, document production and event management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To support the Club communications and the management of events, webinars and seminars
  • To update the TT Club website as required
  • To oversee social media channels and develop content
  • To support the production of collateral inc. presentations, guides and advertising artwork
  • To liaise with TT Club’s global offices to ensure they have the correct branded materials and resources
  • To support Loss Prevention efforts in the production of safety-focused resources


Job Specification


  • Set up and send the Club’s internal and external email communications and track performance
  • Liaise with third-party support agencies e.g. graphic design, PR, advertisers, event organisers
  • Support the management of events, webinars and seminars and the provision of literature and other materials
  • Coordinate merchandise and the provision of literature
  • Help maintain the internal marketing SharePoint page
  • Support the Club’s social media strategy with new and creative ideas
  • Update the Club’s website with new releases and articles
  • Coordinate day-to-day press activity with the external PR agency
  • Help the Club’s Loss Prevention team produce accessible educational material to effect real industry change
  • Proofread the Club’s press releases, communications and documents
  • Support the creation of various types of media inc. video editing, podcast creation and animations
  • Support basic document and image editing
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere strictly with the brand/visual identity guidelines
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders in the production of marketing materials
  • Contribute to the development of effective and creative internal communications strategies


Person Specification:


Relevant experience


The individual is likely to have at least 2 years’ marketing experience from within the professional or financial services sector.


Technical skills


  • A genuine understanding of the principles of marketing
  • First-hand experience of executing marketing techniques in a B2B environment
  • Strong planning development and implementation skills
  • Understanding of the latest digital marketing and social media techniques
  • Confident managing and updating websites, intranet etc
  • Knowledge and experience of using content management and web analytics
  • Comfortable writing copy for a number of mediums
  • Market insight knowledge and skills
  • Able to manage and give direction to third-party agencies
