Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join the marketing team as a Marketing Manager to join our European marketing team supporting the Electrical, Transportation Technologies (TT), Cyber Security (NTA), and Notified Body (NB) business lines. You will primarily support the teams based in the UK but will also collaborate with your teammates to run campaigns and create content that support all our European team. This is a great opportunity to work with growing business lines and drive them to even better!



ABOUT YOU


As the Marketing Manager, you will be closely aligned to the business line and be expected to gain a strong understanding of their commercial priorities, ensuring that marketing and communication activities are responsive to key market drivers and opportunities, as well as to your BL’s strategy, and that marketing activity is designed to enable your business line’s growth priorities.


Required skills and experience:


  • An experienced marketing generalist, with a proven track record working in a B2B services organisation
  • Strong people management experience, with ability to mentor and develop further
  • Proactive, hands-on marketing manager – lead and manage a team, strategic lens
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with all key relationships
  • High levels of attention to detail and committed to driving high quality work
  • Fluent in English. Any other European languages (particularly German, Swedish or Italian) would be a plus, but not essential



ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


You will ensure that both pan-European campaigns and more localised marketing activity are successfully delivered, analysed, and optimised. By leading marketing team, you will ensure high quality work is delivered and you will empower your direct report(s) to take ownership for their activity and results.


Key activities:


  • Providing strategic marketing advice and insight to your BL Director(s)
  • Proactively liaising with key stakeholders across your BL to stay up to date with commercial updates and priorities, and to share valuable insight from the marketing function
  • Ensuring alignment with sales colleagues in your BL and building strong working relationships
  • Building relationships with technical experts to continually enhance your knowledge of the services and segments, and to identify spokespeople for marketing and comms opportunities
  • Aligning with regional, global and group marketing colleagues to capitalise on cross-BL, cross-country and cross-region opportunities, as well as sharing your team’s best practices and learning from others’.
  • Bringing your expertise to relevant European marketing working groups.
