Master Data Assistant
Position: Master Data Assistant
Location: Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire – Remote working available
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week
The impact you will have
Are you experienced in ERP system data management with excellent attention to detail?
Arjo are seeking a Master Data Assistant to maintain Arjo’s business systems data to support new item introduction as well as maintain existing master data.
This role will require you to follow a process of liaising with the business to obtain information via a structured procedure and ensure this is entered into the system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaising with the Design Centres and SSUs across the group to ensure new item data including pricing and Logistics is accurately entered into the existing ERP systems following group procedures.
- Co-ordinating the day to day requests from the business, raised in the existing support applications
- Ensuring complete data set up according to business rules within agreed SLA framework.
- Supporting project issues from project initiation to post production and providing support on financial and operational requests as and when required.
- Help ensure data integrity by policing and regularly checking any updates that have been made in the existing ERP systems.
- Providing cover for Transfer Pricing Coordinator when needed.
- Escalating issues on master data data and pricing, in a structured manner targeting the appropriate functions.
- Liaising with the planning, forecasting and the customer service teams to meet their expectations and minimise operational queries.
- Maintenance of Spare Part to Finished Good relationships along with obsolescence date for Finished Goods. This will support Spare Part obsolescence planning.
- Preparation of execution mass data load templates in the existing ERP systems.
- Providing cover for the team members, when out of office.
The Skills You Will Need
- Qualification in Engineering/IT/Business preferred but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office packages especially Excel
- Access/SQL development knowledge would be desirable
- Experience in ERP system data management and interaction with other business functions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work from own initiative with good organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Understanding and experience in complex business process flows would be desirable
