This role sits within the migration pillar of the programme. The Migration Planning Senior Analyst would be responsible for overall planning function, liaising with key programme stakeholders, tracking milestones, risks and managing metrics needed to achieve them.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a team and will have a direct impact on the success of the migration programme.
What would you be doing?
- Work within migration planning team to support the annual strategic planning process, across Finance, Procurements and other key functions, to define long-term goals, objectives, and detailed plans to achieve targets.
- Conduct hands-on financial and qualitative analysis of programme issues, performance, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
- Support the multi-year planning roadmap to meet programme goals and provide transparency across all its users.
- Support end-to-end planning processes - Requires enhancing / developing processes required to support migration planning activities and create/manage robust controls documentation and operational runbooks.
- Own relationships with multiple key stakeholders including application and shared services teams.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders for resolution of the issues to ensure timely completion of the projects
- Track key programme metrics and identify key themes/trends to support data-driven decisions.
- Manage programme as well application-level changes and calling out risks/ impact of change.
- Apply data modelling (in various tools) skills to create and manage scenario and financial model required for planning purposes.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Proficiency in excel is required for this role.
- Excellent power point skills and ability to lay out the analysis from excels in a structured way.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. High quality output is expected at this level; the migration team publishes material for consumption by senior members of both LSEG and Microsoft. Presentation counts!
- A structured, methodical approach is essential. Like any major transformation initiative, the programme is constantly evolving and changing quickly. You must be able to stay abreast of change and respond accordingly.
- An ability to work with a wide variety of people is vital. We will be working with people from multiple organisation as well as teams from across LSEG, both within Technology and beyond. As this role is a pivot point for the teams – we will be looking for someone with a calm, balanced approach to engagement.
- A passion for logistics. Your logistics experience could have been gained from a variety of backgrounds, and we would love to hear about it.
- A willingness to collaborate and explore new ideas and concepts. This is an evolving programme and the answers you need may not always be available – you might need to help create them!
