RPS occupational health have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Screening Nurse to join our Occupational Health Team. In this role you would beresponsible for the provision of health surveillance, health screening, health promotion, vaccination and venipuncture procedures in accordance with the RPS operational instructions and protocols ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

What You’ll Be Doing

This work is delivered from mobile screening unit and would require significant travel of up to 1-3hrs from the client’s base site in Folkstone. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of class leading service for the supply of health surveillance, health screening and health promotion to clients. The work is delivered at client sites, RPS sites or from mobile screening units. You will be the face of ‘quality service’ for RPS Group and be responsible for the advice given and the service perception of the employee and organisation. You will also be expected to support RPS business development and help to win new clients.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Experienced in all aspects of occupational health service delivery including health surveillance/screening procedures and a willingness to undertake any training for the role
  • Responsible for personal continuous professional development to maintain NMC registration.
  • Hold a current valid driving licence
  • Willingness and ability to travel, drive and work from a mobile screening unit and work outside normal office hours with some overnight stays
  • High degree of self-management, self-motivation and ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Be open to change and lead by example
  • Excellent organisation skills are essential to prioritise and manage a flexible workload
  • Current, valid driving licence and own transport
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, email and OH systems
  • Be flexible, open to change and lead by example
