Full Time: Average of 40 hours per week
Night Shifts - 8PM - 8AM, 3 shifts week 1 and 4 shifts week 2, alternate weekends off

Being a care assistant means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first. Your role will include:
- Companionship
- Helping with personal care
- Helping with mobility around the home
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Example of full-time alternating Weekly Shift Patterns: For 1 week the shift pattern is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday. The following week, the shift pattern is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Spalding, Halmer Court care home is a lovingly designed residence that offers a spacious and luxurious environment that is highly suited to the needs of older people with care needs looking to achieve a relaxing lifestyle and retirement. The home has 61 single rooms, all with ensuite facilities.
Halmer Court is designated to support older people living with dementia and other related illnesses, and residents who require permanent or respite care in a residential setting. The home provides residential, dementia, and respite care. The home is fully wheelchair accessible and all rooms are linked to a call system when staff assistance is required.
