Here's What You'll Be Doing
Are you ready to take the lead in revolutionising our observability platform? Join E.ON UK's Digital Technology team as an Observability Team Leader and be at the forefront of driving our platform to new heights. As a visionary in this role, you will have the power to shape the future of our observability platform, ensuring it not only meets stakeholder requirements but also delivers unparalleled value and impact for our organisation.
- Own and drive E.ON UK's observability platform, roadmap, and strategy, ensuring it meets stakeholder requirements and provides value for the organization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their future strategic needs.
- Showcase the value that the platform brings to the business, promoting the achievements and capabilities of the Observability team to the wider community.
- Take a hands-on approach to designing, creating, implementing, and delivering innovative observability capabilities, managing a backlog and pipeline of activity for business stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain best practices and standards for implementing the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, governance, and compliance.
- Provide technical leadership on the latest capabilities of the platform, staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving technology landscape.
- Foster the growth and skill development of your team members through mentoring and guidance.
- Lead technical discussions and requirements analysis with the business to ensure value-driven implementation.
- Make recommendations for strategic projects to improve the monitoring and observability platform, including resourcing needs.
- Represent the UK Digital Technology team with E.on Group and other regional units, collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- Engage with technology vendors and partners to explore joint ventures and leverage the latest technology advancements.

What We Need From You
- Educated to Degree Level or similar experience.
- 5 years' Team Management experience in a technical environment.
- 3 years' experience in an Observability or Application Performance Management role.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Product, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Experience working in an international environment.
