As a Paint Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the flawless finish and aesthetic excellence of our vehicles and components. You will be responsible for preparing and polishing surfaces to meet the highest industry standards, contributing directly to the premium quality for which our brand is known.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation:

• Perform thorough cleaning, masking, and sanding of vehicles and components prior to painting.


• Identify and correct surface imperfections to ensure optimal paint application.

Polishing:

• Execute detailed polishing to achieve a flawless, high-gloss finish.


• Address any minor defects or blemishes through buffing and reworking processes.

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished work for consistency, quality, and adherence to specifications.


• Maintain records of completed work and report any deviations to supervisors.

Maintenance and Safety:

• Ensure workspaces, tools, and equipment are clean, organized, and in proper working order.


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE and safe handling of materials.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proficiency in the use of painting tools and equipment, including spray guns and polishing machines.


• Attention to detail and ability to work to exacting quality standards.


• Strong understanding of health and safety practices within a paint shop environment.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• A passion for automotive craftsmanship and a commitment to excellence.


• Methodical and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
