Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of a varied caseload of motor recovery files.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including letters before action, pleadings, and court applications.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties to gather necessary information and documents.
- Monitor case progress and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Attend court hearings and assist with the preparation of court bundles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all case-related activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
Essential
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience as a Paralegal with a focus on motor recoveries.
- Experience working within a legal team at DWF or similar firm is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the legal processes involved in motor recovery cases
