An exciting opportunity has become available for a Parts Administrator to join our state-of-the-art Service Centre in Kings Hill.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for allocating parts to watches to watchmakers and case assemblers when required. You will work within a small team to support all functions of the Service Centre to ensure the smooth running of department.
Working with a high volume of stock, you will show excellent diligence ensuring that all watch parts, links, and straps are allocated to the correct watches and that all orders that are placed with suppliers are accurate and timely.
We are searching for someone who is organised with a methodical mindset, possessing strong critical thinking skills with the ability to think on your feet.
How will you make an impact?
- Responding to all Answering all enquiries that come through via the in-house dashboard that are requesting parts, links, and straps for works in the workshop.
- Process and allocating parts to live jobs.
- Support the Watchmaking and Casing Department with all parts requirements.
- Consult with internal departments, sending out watches and parts accordingly.
- Placing orders for parts, links and straps using various suppliers/manufacturers, chasing up overdue parts.
- Organising and tidying away stock into the correct locations
- Correctly identifying and picking links and straps for sold watches in a timely manner so that watches are dispatched for next day delivery.
- Updating and logging and stock changes via our internal portal ‘Time Services’.
How will you experience success with us?
- A Passion for or desire to work with luxury timepieces.
- Exceptional communication skills. You will have the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner, within your direct team but also other departments within the business.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
- Excellent attention to detail and somebody that takes great care in their work.
- The ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines and timescales
- Critical thinker who can resolve problems and ‘think on their feet.’
- Experience within an administrative or stock management role would be advantageous.
