We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Performance Analyst to join our Spills Programme.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

This critical role within the River Health & Enhancement team ensures the successful delivery of Spills Programme activities to meet our spills performance targets and manage compliance risk.

You will undertake performance assessments around overflow (storm and emergency) at asset, area, and company levels. Supporting the Business Leader and wider teams, you will ensure full tracking of storm overflow performance regarding spills, duration, improvement planning, and compliance risks like dry weather flow, real-time reporting of discharges, and SOAF requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and deliver weekly, monthly, and annual reports on overflow performance, storm overflow ODI annual position, and compliance assessments.
  • Act as the gatekeeper and future developer of the spills performance and improvement tracker and support the wider River Health Team as required.
  • Track ongoing improvements across the programme and workstreams to ensure necessary improvements are in place to meet the storm overflow spill ODI.
  • Provide compelling analysis and insight to deliver in-year performance in line with the plan, maintaining a forward-looking view of business performance.
  • Actively challenge performance and support key operational activities, including strategy and finance. While managing permissions and access requests to Solutions Tracker and other databases.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

To succeed in this role, you need strong experience in data analysis, identifying root causes of complex problems, developing solutions, technical report writing, and presenting findings. Proficiency in ESRI GIS software for spatial analysis and creating PowerBI systems and reports is essential.

You should also have experience in developing and implementing new processes, preparing monthly performance reports, and working in team and change environments. Additionally, experience in facilitating meetings, workshops, planning events, and conducting assurance, audits, and health checks is required.

Good influencing skills at both Business Leader and front-line operations levels are necessary, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships and trust. You should be capable of challenging senior stakeholders and work well under pressure, remaining patient, calm, and self-controlled.

As travel is required, you’ll have to hold a full U.K driving licence.
