Pharmacy Learning and Development Digital Designer

A brilliant opportunity to join an established and energised learning and development team who are passionate about developing the knowledge and skills of team members, inclusively and with care. You’ll work closely with the Healthcare Capability team to design and build digital learning solutions that help thousands of Boots pharmacy and healthcare colleagues to deliver fantastic care to our customers and patients.

About the opportunity

Working with the central team in the Nottingham Support office, Healthcare Academy Trainers and other field team members, and external partners, the training interventions created will support career pathways and increase capability through blended learning interventions to shape the professional development of Boots pharmacy and healthcare colleagues.

As part of the role, you will have opportunities to work with internal Boots teams and relevant external partners such as training providers to support with the design and delivery of tailored training interventions. Reporting into Healthcare Capability Manager - Pharmacy Practice Boots UK, you will:

• Project manage, design and deliver high quality, insight-led digital learning solutions to our learners in Boots stores.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across the wider Healthcare business, HR and wider L&D functions to identify opportunities to gather insights and join up thinking and ideas to deliver creative solutions for all learners.
• Own the cycle of learning development from learner insights and scoping through to evaluation and renewal.
• Actively seek out internal and external insights to ensure design fits the needs of the learner and the business but also brings fresh, new ways to do this.
• Develop and challenge yourself in new skills, techniques and software and collaborate with a team of digital designers and learning specialists to help grow their capability.

What you’ll need to have

• A creative thinker with a passion for great design.
• Constantly curious about new ways of doing things, developing yourself and others to design and deliver innovative and inclusive solutions.
• Experience in creating a variety of digital learning solutions, using industry-leading authoring tools such as Storyline 360, Rise or Adapt.
• Proficient skills across the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly within Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
• Excellent project management, influencing and communication skills.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience of measuring the impact of learning.
• An understanding of motion graphics.
• Experience with filming and editing live footage.
