N336 Driver (3.5t) - Role Profile.
Do you have previous experience of manual work, preferably in street cleansing, and knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation?
Vacancies have become available for weekend Cleansing Operative as a Driver (3.5t) within our Street Scene and Waste department.
Duties will include keeping the city and local environment clean and tidy through the cleansing of public land, highways and main roads.
This will/could include cleansing of litterbins, fly tip and locations where spillages, litter and split bags have taken place and the safe removal of hazardous substances, also de-weeding of streets.
Weekday hours, you will normally be required to work 34.25 hours Friday & Saturday 11.5 hours per day and Sunday 11.25. This will be worked subject to the needs of your employing department.
Willingness to undertake occasional out of hours night time duties as and when required.
If your working week involves shift, night, rota, weekend or seasonal arrangements a detailed breakdown of your working hours will be provided separately by your line manager. This role provides you with access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
